From September 21 to 29, three members of our association had the opportunity to learn graphic facilitation techniques and many other things in beautiful Kolin, in the Czech Republic, facilitated by the great team of our partners at @cefiginternational and @yowopoland.
The experience was very important for them, and upon their return, we listened to their feedback.
Here are the words of our participants:
Antonella: “Participating in the Creative Compass training course was a truly inspiring and transformative experience. I had the chance to immerse myself in a stimulating environment where creativity was the key to learning, communication, and collaboration. The sessions were dynamic and engaging, combining reflection, practice, and teamwork, and I discovered powerful tools such as graphic facilitation and other innovative methods that make education more inclusive and engaging.
What made the course extraordinary was not only the variety of new techniques, but also the exchange with passionate participants from different countries. Every activity, every discussion, and every shared idea opened new perspectives and gave me fresh motivation to grow both personally and professionally.
I return home with new knowledge, wonderful memories, and strong inspiration to bring creativityinto my daily teaching practice. As a teacher with 26 years of experience, I am excited to put into practice everything I have learned, to enrich my students’ learning experiences, and to share these valuable tools and approaches with my colleagues. This course was not just training – it was a real journey of growth, connection, and positive energy that I will carry with me for a long time.”
Isabella: “Taking part in the Creative Compass training course was an amazing experience. Together with youth workers, educators, and creative people from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, North Macedonia and Romania, I learned how to use creativity as a tool for facilitation, learning and inclusion.
Through hands-on activities and teamwork, I discovered techniques like graphic facilitation and other visual methods that make education more engaging and accessible. Beyond the new skills, I’m bringing home unforgettable memories, inspiring connections, and the motivation to put what I’ve learned into practice.
Jane: I’m incredibly grateful to *Cefig, YoWo Poland, and CineGiovani* for giving me the chance to take part in the *Creative Compass* training course. This experience truly changed the way I see things and opened my eyes to new ways of learning and connecting with others.
During the course, I met inspiring people from different countries, shared ideas, and explored how creativity can make learning more inclusive and engaging. The activities were energetic, reflective, and full of teamwork, and I discovered amazing tools like graphic facilitation that I can bring back home.
I leave with wonderful memories, new friendships, and a lot of inspiration to apply what I’ve learned in the future.
